Family Therapy

Family relationships are complex

Whether you are a parent, child, sibling or spouse,

navigating the waters of your family’s relationships is an essential part of everyday life. Sometimes, it’s easy. Other times, we become so enmeshed in our own drama that we need an outside perspective to help us see what is happening. That’s where family counseling comes in.

How Family Counseling Works

While I often work with children in one-on-one sessions, the family is seen as a systemic unit, and all members are invited to participate in family counseling.

Together, we will discover first-hand exactly how your relationships are getting stuck. We also will call on your individual and shared strengths to move through these blocks and find new ways to love, support and be supported by each other.

Families of all kinds, ages, and backgrounds are welcome.

Individual Therapy for Children

Individual therapy can be helpful at any age, especially when your child is acting out, withdrawing or falling behind in school.

By introducing your child to a skilled and supportive therapist, you can simultaneously support their personal growth and learn more effective parenting strategies to help them on your own. Additionally, we can provide therapy to family members, should it be beneficial for your child’s treatment.
